FP1:

Nicholas Latifi, the Canadian test and reserve driver for Williams, drove Kubicaís car in this session.

Giovinazzi lost a lot of the session after crashing into the wall and destroying his left rear suspension.

Bottas came back to the pits with a few minutes left to go with a reduction of fuel pressure.

The times are not normally significant in FP1 as we donít know what fuel loads, etc. the teams are running, but a quick glance at the times Iíve listed (first, last, and every second) shows the Mercedes are significantly ahead with the brand new engines installed in their cars. (Leclerc was only a little faster than Verstappen.)

FP2:

Having handed his car to Lafiti in the first session Kubica was first out on track to get as much running as possible to make up for it, not that itíll make much difference!!

Hamilton only got 8 laps under his belt before he hit the wall and damaged the carís rear end.

Giovinazzi was in the garage for the first hour following his incident in FP1.

Verstappen wacked the wall with his front right, but I imagine heíll be out as usual tomorrow.

RACE:

A driver rejoining the track shall leave one carís width between his car and the trackís edge. Iíll just leave that there!

Norris had a rear brake fire that melted the suspension and caused him to retire.

Albon was retired by his team as he was not going well, there was little point in continuing, and they could save the engine and other components.
